Joe Gagliardino

Joe Gagliardino serves as the Director of Engineering and Quality at FerroWorks LLC, overseeing all product development engineering and quality systems across the company’s four business units. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Gagliardino brings deep technical expertise and strategic insight into the company.

A Penn State graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Engineering Mechanics. He currently manages a team of engineers, drafters, and metallurgists responsible for innovative component design and forging simulations.

In addition to engineering, Joe directs quality management across all FerroWorks facilities. He leads initiatives to maintain ISO and AAR certifications, manage regulatory compliance, and ensure rigorous physical testing standards.

Joe has been named as an inventor on 13 U.S. patents and over 60 international patents for rail component innovations. He is known for his self-direction, decision-making, and dedication to reliability – values he believes are key to FerroWorks’ growth as it expands into new sectors.
